ABOUT
OMIWW:
OMIWW is the acronym for "Ohio Make It With Wool," a yearly contest
sponsored by the Ohio Sheep Improvement Association and the Ohio Sheep and
Wool Program to promote the beauty and versatility of wool fabrics and yarn.
OMIWW is a member of the National MIWW, which is the longest running, uninterupted
promotion of the sheep and wool industry. There are two levels of competion
for Ohio, the first of which takes place on the state level, with top Junior,
Senior and Adult winners going on to compete on the national level. For
more information about National Competition click the National
MIWW link. This
link will send you to The American Sheep Industry Association website at
www.sheepusa.org.
As State of Ohio Director of MIWW, Mary Roediger oversees the competion on the state level. Click on the links to discover more about the Make It With Wool Competition at the state level in Ohio. If you need more specific information you can email Mary.
